Fitness has been a part of my life since 1998. At 16 years of age, I was given my first set of weights, and a small weight machine for my bedroom. In over twenty years of fitness I’ve learned a great deal about diet, resistance training, and cardio exercise. The most important thing I’ve learned about these things is that they are NOT first priority when creating a fitter/healthier you; they’re third and fourth.
-Priority One is making the decision to be the best version of you. It’s getting in control of the way that you feel, which leads to incredible action, which leads to incredible results!
-Priority Two is boosting your head game. It’s setting your belief and getting into the fitness mindset. You have to believe that you can/will have the body and health that you’ve always wanted. Getting that belief is simpler than you might think and will lead to fitness beyond your wildest dreams.
-Priority Three is diet and sleep. It’s choosing the best food, which will leave you feeling satisfied, energetic, and inspired. It’s choosing the foods that support recovery while you sleep, and it’s getting the sleep you need in order to recover.
-Priority Four is exercise. Weight lifting and cardio are the icing on the cake. Think about that. The icing on the cake is the first thing people see. It can be so decorative that it gets most of the attention. That said, the cake came first. Without the cake, the icing had nothing to decorate. The icing, of course, is still very important. Icing is the attention to detail that really puts the cake on the map. Put shortly, bake your cake with care, then add the icing. Put practically, focus on your fitness mindset first, next, get the nutrition and sleep that you need, and finally, go workout!
As a lover of fitness I’ve compiled a great deal of data on mindset, habit forming, power foods, and kick ass workouts. Involvement with running sports, rock climbing, weight lifting, and acrobatics has given me the body I never knew I could have. A strong academic interest in things like habit forming, successful habits, psychology, and law of attraction have taught me the reasons why I’ve had such success, and why you can have it too. The time has come! I’m sharing all my secrets! It is my intention to tell you everything I know about feeling great, looking great, and making everyone ask, “How do you do it?!”
I’m glad you’ve joined me! Now let’s get going!
